winMASW® 3C (winMASW®)
In our opinion, this version represents a sort of good compromise between very basic analyses based just on Rayleigh waves (see Lite and Standard versions) and the very advanced procedures available in winMASW® Academy. It fundamentally allows the joint analysis of Rayleigh and Love waves (according to the classical approach based on the modal dispersion curves) + HVSR (Nakamura).
Main tools:
- MASW (Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves) analyses considering both Rayleigh and Love waves (and their joint inversion)
- computation and modeling of the H/V spectral ratio (Nakamura’s method) to estimate the resonance frequency
- Vs30 calculation
- Low- and High-pass filters
- 1D modelling of refractions, also considering low-velocity layers, only for the P waves
- elastic moduli calculation tool
- tool for combining several traces acquired by a single 3-component geophone (using different offsets) and obtaining datasets useful for MASW analysis considering both Rayleigh (radial and vertical component) and Love waves
