Important Notice: Do Not Install the Latest Windows 11 Updates

The most recent Windows 11 updates have permanently removed the WMIC (Windows Management Instrumentation Command-line) component.
The current releases of our software were compiled when WMIC was still a standard Windows component, i.e. well before Microsoft decided to remove it. They therefore still rely on WMIC and, on computers where this component has been removed by the latest Windows 11 updates, they may no longer work properly. The problem therefore results from a subsequent change introduced by Microsoft in the operating system and not from a defect in our software.
For the time being, we recommend NOT installing the latest Windows 11 updates on computers used with our software.
We are updating the programs to eliminate the dependency on WMIC. As soon as the updated releases are available, the information will be published on this page. 

 

Notes:

  • HoliSurface® and winMASW® work only on 64-bit computers
  • HoliSurface® and winMASW® are compatible with windows 10 and 11 (recommended OS), windows 8 and 7

In order to receive the updates released after the date of the purchase a fee is required.

Registration
Do not forget to register your purchase by sending an e-mail (winmasw@winmasw.com) reporting the product you bought winMASW® (version Academy, Professional, 3C, Standard, Lite, winHVSR), HoliSurface®, ELIOVSP and/or HS-QC (Quality Check), the reseller from which you bought it and, finally, the UID (User ID) and SN (Serial Number) reported in the key holder.
If you miss to register within 2 weeks from the purchase no assistance and case studies will be provided.

Gli aggiornamenti rilasciati successivamente alla data di acquisto del software sono disponibili a pagamento.
Il costo dell'aggiornamento è determinato sulla base della quantità e tipologia delle novità implementate nonchè della release posseduta dall'utente.

Registrazione
Per perfezionare l’acquisto è necessario effettuare la registrazione inviando un e-mail (winmasw@winmasw.com) ed indicando prodotto (winMASW®, HoliSurface®, ELIOVSP e/o HS-QC (Quality Check), versione (Lite, HVSR, 3C, Standard, Professional, Academy), UID (User ID) e SN (Serial Number) riportati sulla chiave hardware USB, data e nome del distributore presso il quale è avvenuto l’acquisto.
La mancata registrazione entro due settimane dall’acquisto comporta la perdita del diritto all’assistenza e alla ricezione di casi studio e suggerimenti sulle tecniche MASW.
